Welcome - We would like to welcome you to The Pray for Monroe prayer strategy website. The focus of this website is the local community of  Monroe Washington, and the greater Seattle area. We believe in the power of unified prayer in the name and authority of Jesus Christ. Our heart is to see God's hand move in powerful ways in Monroe and the surrounding communities. Jesus Christ is the answer - let's join together and believe for great things.

Online community - this website is intended to inform, connect, and inspire those desiring to help in this Kingdom building ministry. To contact us further use the information on this site.

Our Summits - The Pray for Monroe prayer summits are an non denominational, multi ethnic, culturally diverse, intergenerational, community focused, prayer gatherings of like minded Christians. Wow that's a mouth full. We just want to make it clear that all are welcome. These summits are not intended to replace your current church/fellowship association but to promote unity through prayer in a neutral setting. Monroe has some amazing churches and community groups active in this area. We hope that these groups will feel welcome and blessed to be a part of these events and online community. However we also know there are many individuals with a heart for prayer who don't attend anywhere regularly. Everyone is welcome to come and participate. It's these type of events where racial, cultural, age and denominational lines fall down and fellowship and unity explode.

The Vision - After spending a focused season in prayer as well as speaking to Monroe law enforcement, community leaders, and local residents, we feel the Lord has given us nine key areas to focus on when we get together during our nine week prayer summits. You can view the handouts on this page. Our vision also includes an online community as well.

The Summit Format - Our nights have a very simple format. Beginning with a time of worship in song, a short message to direct our prayer time, and then will culminate around an interactive participatory time of prayer and body ministry. Each week we will focus on a specific theme using some simple visual aides and everyone will be encouraged to pray as the Spirit leads them in groups or individually.

We have a burden to see a new spiritual freedom hit the Monroe area. A freedom in lives that may normally be held in bondage. A freedom that only prayer and faith in Jesus Christ will release. We know there are others out there who share our burden. We are encouraging you to contact us - there is much work to do getting ready for the event. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and spread the word.
